Back to Work

Finally made time to get some collage done and the results are here. The last one is an entry for a collaborative project with friends and is made from a tea-towel and vintage stickers. Does anyone use tea-towels anymore? The pink jacquard bird attracted me to the fabric at some flea-market, yard sale, estate sale or whatever. The provenance of my materials would fill an (old-fashioned) encyclopedia.

The 3 blue ones started as a way to recycle a tissue box, those ovals in the top just turn my crank. So I finally made use of them. There is so much visual material coming through my house and its a shame to not use it in something. I still want to figure out how to use the graphics on cereal boxes but so far, I tend toward the more decorative.
