One Tank Trip to Mansfield

Last week or the week before Gretchen Bierbaum and I took a trip to Mansfield Art Center to check out the space and meet the people who are going to be mounting an invitational collage exhibit. The building itself was worth the trip and the space inside (no photos, darn) is exceptional. From there we went to the gallery downtown (photos 3 and 4) and I was able to revisit the stitched work of Irene Maginnis who is a favorite of mine. The last photo is looking out the window of a wonderful bakery right next door to the gallery where they made mini-bundt cakes. Delicious! The carousel horse was made in Mansfield where they still have a factory and a full-size carousel downtown. It was a wonderful day!
